Where can I find the AI-declaration section?
If you used AI during the creation of your book (e.g.: for writing, editing, translating, generating illustrations and/or cover image), it needs to be declared in the metadata of your book.
Whether you are uploading an ebook, an audiobook or a print book, you can find this under the "Creators" section of the upload form.
As the AI-declaration is a requirement by our store partner, this section is mandatory.
If you select the "yes, I used AI for all or part of my book" answer, you will be able to disclose the use of AI for text, translation and image.
You do not need to type in anything, just click on the different fields, and you can select one of the following:
Can stores accept books created with the help of AI?
Yes, most of our store partners can accept books created with the help of AI. However, it needs to be properly declared in the metadata - that is why we ask you to specify how you used it.
