I have my books on Amazon. Can I distribute through PublishDrive?

If you are not in KDP Select, you can start uploading your books today. You can convert your book file into an EPUB before uploading it, or upload it as a DOCX.

Once you have your books uploaded, you can select which stores you would like to distribute to. If you would like to continue distributing to Amazon directly, switch it off during the book upload process under the 'Distribution' section. Otherwise, you'll need to take your book down from Amazon and resend it through us. Just send us your original ASIN to retain your reviews.

 

If you are in KDP Select or Kindle Unlimited (KU),  in this case, you'll need to cancel the automatic re-enrolment and upload your books once the 90 days are over. KDP Select is an exclusive agreement, so you can’t go through another distributor while enrolled.

If you wish to distribute your book through PublishDrive to stores outside of Amazon, please be aware of the following:

  • For wide store distribution, you’ll need to opt out of automatic re-enrolment in KU and set your book as a preorder for 90 days on PublishDrive.

  • However, if you prefer to keep your book in KU, you can still distribute it exclusively to libraries via PublishDrive without any conflict.
