New EU print-on-demand marketplaces available for Amazon KEP

Amazon has expanded Kindle Enterprise Publishing (KEP) print-on-demand distribution to four new European marketplaces: Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, and Belgium. If you already distribute paperbacks through Amazon, your eligible titles have been automatically published to these new marketplaces.

To support this, PublishDrive has added PLN (Polish złoty) and SEK (Swedish krona) as pricing currencies on our platform, so you can set accurate local list prices for these markets.

Review your list prices

Each Amazon marketplace accepts specific currencies for list prices:

  • Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.it, Amazon.es, Amazon.nl, Amazon.be: EUR
  • Amazon.se: SEK
  • Amazon.pl: PLN
  • Amazon.com: USD
  • Amazon.co.uk: GBP
  • Amazon.ca: CAD, USD
  • Amazon.co.jp: JPY, USD, GBP
  • Amazon.com.au: AUD

To sell your paperback in a given marketplace, make sure you provide a list price in the corresponding currency for that marketplace.

  • If your list price already met the minimum or maximum requirements for a marketplace, that price was used to distribute the paperback.
  • If a list price was missing, your Germany (DE) list price was converted to the local currency and adjusted to meet the minimum or maximum requirements for that marketplace.

Going forward, you're responsible for setting and maintaining accurate local pricing for your titles in each marketplace.

Eligibility requirements

  • Territorial rights covering all EU marketplaces (Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, and Belgium)
  • Enrollment in Inventory Free or In-Stock Protection across the EU

If your titles are sold in countries with fixed book price laws, you're responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations.

You can review and update your list prices for these marketplaces directly on your PublishDrive dashboard. New titles distributed through Amazon print-on-demand will also be able to reach these marketplaces going forward, provided they meet the eligibility requirements above.
