How It Works
Our assistant takes the textual content of your book in various formats and provides recommendations for metadata elements such as title, subtitle, series name, pen name, blurb, categories, keywords, and prices. You have the flexibility to fine-tune the results, select preferred options, provide feedback, export recommendations, and seamlessly integrate with our distribution service.

Accessing our Publishing Assistant is simple. You can use the direct link provided or access it within our platform's app list.
Additionally, our new full-page product navigator feature ensures seamless navigation between services, making it easier than ever to utilize all our platform has to offer.
Clicking on the tile ‘Publishing Assistant’ will lead to the next page, where you can start working on your project with us.
- As an introductory promotion, you will receive 50 credits to start. This is sufficient to process one book, as processing typically requires around 50 credits (the exact amount depends on the book's length and language). You can check your credit balance at any time by looking at the top right corner of the page.
Clicking on the tile of ‘Craft and optimize metadata’ your journey begins. In the pop-up window, you are required to upload your title and provide us with some information.
The Publishing Assistant currently provides solutions for ebooks; therefore, the accepted formats are the following:
- .epub - (both epub2 and epub3)
- .docx
Important note: Metadata crafting relies on textual content, so it won't work with image-only or minimal text content. For optimal quality results, it is recommended to upload a book with at least 10,000 words.
Once all data is provided and you hit the START button:
After a few minutes of processing, you can select the Title, Subtitle, Pen Name, Series, Description, Categories, Keywords, and Price.
If you don't like the suggestions or are curious about additional recommendations during the process, clicking on ‘GENERATE MORE’ will provide further options.
For some metadata types, such as title, subtitle, series, pen name, and blurb, you can generate unlimited additional recommendations as many times as you wish, while for other types, like keywords, price, Amazon categories, and BISAC categories, the recommendations are limited. You can still request more options by pressing ‘GENERATE MORE,’ but eventually, you will be notified when no further recommendations can be generated.
Generating more suggestions will use additional credits from your balance, according to the table below. Undo of it is not available.
Once you have made all your selections, you can click READY. The button will remain inactive until all steps are completed.
After clicking on READY, the summary will appear on the right side of the page.
