There is no better way in getting reviews than by sending review copies to your friends or influencers directly from Apple Books, Kobo or Google Play Books. Please request review copies on our platform under Promotions section.
Currently, you can send review copies through Apple Books and Google Play Books. Other stores don't support these at the moment.
Apple Books (iBooks)
We can request a redeem code on your behalf from Apple Books. The redeem code may be used within four weeks (28 days) from the day it has been issued. Please note that these will only work for users who have access to Apple devices.
They have to follow these steps to redeem the code:
- Check whether iTunes installed. If not, you can download it from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
- Log in with your iTunes account (or register).
- Open the iTunes software. You’ll find 'Redeem' under your account.
- Just enter the code here – and enjoy your book :)
Timeline: it takes up to 48 hours to receive a code.
Google Play Books
We can automatically send copies to reviewers through Google Play Books. All we need are Google account addresses of those you’d like to send copies to (review copies will not be sent out to non-Google email addresses). Once the review copies are sent, the recipients will receive a notification and be able to find the copies in their Google Play Books accounts to download and read.
The copies come with DRM protection, meaning that they can only be read by the reviewer. The review copy is not a loan; it will be theirs to keep and will not disappear from their accounts.
Timeline: it takes up to 48 hours to receive a review copy.
Kobo - temporarily suspended
We can request a redeem code on your behalf from Kobo. The redeem code may be used within four weeks (28 days) from the day it has been issued. The reviewer's territory must be specified in advance because the code can only be used in the territory it was requested for. We send you the code directly which then you can forward to the reviewer.
The reviewer must have a Kobo account (if you don’t have one you can register here for free) to use the review code. The book won't "expire" and can be available in the reviewer's account forever.
Timeline: it takes up to 14 days to receive a code.
