This article gives you a clear overview of the external AI providers we work with, what data may be involved, and where to find their terms. ### Why we use third-party AI providers Some of PublishDrive's features rely on advanced AI models to help you work faster and smarter — from generating book metadata to creating cover images. This means that when you use any of our AI-assisted features, the relevant inputs — such as book titles, descriptions, genre information, or content submitted for review — are sent directly to the respective third-party provider's servers for processing. We may feed samples, smaller parts of your work for these APIs, but we never submit your book as a whole. Here is what you should know about how each provider handles API data: **OpenAI** — data submitted via the API is not used to train OpenAI's models by default. Data may be retained temporarily for safety and abuse monitoring purposes. Anthropic's commercial terms include specific data handling commitments for API customers.
