Third-Party AI Tools We Use at PublishDrive
At PublishDrive, we believe in being open and transparent about how we build our products — including the third-party technologies that power some of our AI-assisted features. This article gives you a clear overview of the external AI providers we work with, what data may be involved, and where to find their terms.
Why we use third-party AI providers
Some of PublishDrive's features rely on advanced AI models to help you work faster and smarter — from generating book metadata to creating cover images. Rather than building these capabilities entirely in-house, we integrate with industry-leading AI providers to deliver the best possible experience.

Your data and privacy
PublishDrive integrates with the AI providers listed above via their official APIs. This means that when you use any of our AI-assisted features, the relevant inputs — such as book titles, descriptions, genre information, or content submitted for review — are sent directly to the respective third-party provider's servers for processing.
Here is what you should know about how each provider handles API data:
OpenAI — data submitted via the API is not used to train OpenAI's models by default. Data may be retained temporarily for safety and abuse monitoring purposes. See OpenAI's terms for full details.
Anthropic — data submitted via the API is not used for model training by default. Anthropic's commercial terms include specific data handling commitments for API customers. See Anthropic's commercial terms for full details.
Leonardo AI — please refer to Leonardo AI's terms of service for details on how data submitted via their API is handled and retained.
We encourage you to review each provider's terms and privacy policies directly, as these may be updated over time. If you have questions about how PublishDrive handles your data more broadly, please refer to our Privacy Policy or contact our support team.
