We are happy to distribute all kinds of languages. Please check the Stores page to learn what languages our distributor partners support.
We kind of feel ashamed to write it, but: please do not use Google translate to upload your book in English. It won't be accepted. There are thousands of languages worldwide, and each of them have readers hungry for books - don't let them down.
Metadata entry
Please make sure to always use the book's language and script for the following:
- title
- author's and translator's name
- description
If your description, title or author is in a different language than your book, your book might be rejected.
Non-Latin scripts
Unfortunately, some of our stores have difficulties handling non-Latin scripts in the title and author field. If you have books going to Barnes & Noble or Gardners, we recommend to provide the latin transcription at book upload as metadata. Without that we won't be able to distribute your work to these channels. (They will need it to generate links, as non-Latin characters are unfortunately not currently supported in links.)
Additionally, if your book contains non-Latin script, we recommend that you embed the font.
