If you are wondering where to access crucial insights into your book sales performance, the answer lies in the Sales Analytics section of your PublishDrive dashboard. To access it, simply navigate to the Sales Analytics option, located in the left-hand side menu of your main PublishDrive dashboard.
In this article, we'll provide a comprehensive description of the Sales Analytics page, ensuring you can easily find and manage your sales data. Whether you're tracking general book sales or keeping an eye on preorder performance, this guide will help you uncover the insights you need to make informed decisions.
Does the Sales Analytics page provide real-time sales insights?
Yes, we receive live sales statistics from certain distributors, including Amazon, Amazon Print, Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Libby, and Google Play Books, which we display for you here. Sales data for other stores will be incorporated into your charts as soon as we receive their official sales reports, which may be on a monthly or quarterly basis, depending on the store's reporting schedule. For instance, in the case of Scribd, Bookmate, 24symbols, Gardners, Mackin, Odilo, Hoopla, Dreame, Tolino, and Storytel, your sales data will typically be added by the 15th of each month following the month in which your sales occurred.
It's important to note that live sales data can be subject to changes and temporary lags. Payments are processed in accordance with the earnings reports compiled by the end of the month following the sale, which you can access under the 'Royalty payments' menu. While the Sales Analytics page primarily serves informative purposes and helps you keep track of your sales, it's essential to understand that it isn't the sole basis for our payouts.
Please be aware that live sales data is not instantaneous; we can only update your information once we receive sales reports from the respective stores. Typically, this process takes approximately 2-3 days, so we kindly ask for your understanding regarding this slight delay.

There are two primary sections available for your viewing, which can be easily accessed from the top header:
