Exit terms (delete account)

You can withdraw a book from sale any time by clicking on 'Books', then 'Withdraw' on the platform.

Many of our stores take around 14 days to remove a book from sale, so we recommend that you wait at least two weeks before entering an exclusive distribution.

Freezing account

If you decide to leave PublishDrive for a few months (for example while your books are in KDP Select), you don't need to close your account. You are free to come and go as you wish. You can opt out from all email communication for the time being.

Deleting account

All good things have to end - but we wish they didn't.

If you simply want to cancel your subscription, you can do so easily without any assistance from us. You can read about how to do it here.

If you decide to terminate your partnership with us and want to delete your account, simply let us know on this form. It would help us tremendously if you also explained why you decided to leave.

We'll delete your books immediately. Depending on whether or not you have any unpaid royalties (we'd really like to pay you everything we owe) we might be able to delete your account immediately or wait a few months until your last invoice arrives.

If you are in one of our legacy royalty share plans, we strongly advise against completely deleting your account. These types of accounts do not have monthly fees so it doesn't cost you anything to maintain them. However, if you later change your mind and your account is already deleted, royalty share options will not be available to you anymore, only subscription.
